Another Coffee Shop Coming to Scarsdale?
London-based Caffè Nero is Opening Soon on Christie Place & East Parkway.
Scarsdale Village has always been one of Westchester's most charming villages. Caffè Nero, a pricey London-based coffee chain with dozens of locations in the Boston and D.C. Metro areas, will be another addition to Scarsdale's food scene. It will be opening on the corner of Christie Place and East Parkway in the former Bank of America space.
Caffè Nero, whose name means "black coffee" in Italian, is the largest independent coffeehouse group in Europe with over 1,000 locations across 10 countries. The brand's philosophy focuses on premium Italian coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food.
The company is still in its "expansion phase" in the US, and the Scarsdale location will bring a great European coffeehouse experience to our doorstep. We will have to see how well it does with competition from other village cafés such as Martine's, Dante's Lattes, and Starbucks.
There is currently no confirmed opening date for this location.
